I genuinely think autumn is my favourite season the colours and textures are just so amazing. This beautiful tree is an old friend standing in the autumn sun…aren’t trees just magical, being all leafy and sucking carbon from the atmosphere. This is one of my favourites, although the colours of summer lingered a lot later than normal.

I thought I’d try and put together a little collection of things relating to this old tree.

One of the most lovely things is how the grass is still so green and the dew on the leaves is magical at this time of year.

I really enjoyed just looking at the ground (even though this picture was taken in my garden) I didn’t move anything about when I took these pictures they’re all natural. There were a few acorn cups but no actual acorns!

These leaves look so nice next to the green of the grass, I love how many fiery shades there are.
