Design specs and illustrations for Water of Life collection, so starting at the beginning no.1 is a coat with abstract frill on front side seam, made in bright blue cotton, with a corset and trousers in a pleated silk fabric in a mushroom colour, next to that is a silky trapeze top, with a high-waisted pencil skirt made in ombre dyed knitted wool. The third is a double breasted long grey wool coat with white ‘frills’ on the side of the button band (would be made as out fit no.5) the fourth, a simple dress that buttons at the front and has a 3 tier bustle built into the back, made in bright blue cotton, with no.5 is a shorts and jacket (with a built-in bustle at the back) combo in ombre dyed knitted wool, with a silk trapeze top in the pleated silk underneath and finally a grey suit with white “frills” along the length of the body, (which would be made as outfit no.6).

Now I’ve handed in my collection I have time to upload the last of the changes to my range plan, including any colour changes.

Design specs and illustrations for New Horizons collection,

New Horizons design project for EABurns using my inspirations of feathers, smoke and other natural things interpreted into some quirky prints in bright colours, which will go into panels and sections of my designs. So the collection consists of 6 outfits all of which would be made in responsibly sourced and preferably organic cotton, silk and wool. Starting on the left, a just above the knee pleated full skirt and printed blouse with a peter pan collar, no 2. Is a digitally printed, mid calf full skirt with a high waist and a blue, cropped jumper. No 3. Is simple white long sleeved blouse with a yellow knit short sleeve jumper and printed floaty cotton shorts, the 4th outfit is a simple day dress with print paneling in a spotty print. No 5. Is a light silk, digitally printed floor length number with a cut-away hem and finally the last outfit is a red knit low neck jumper, with a feather printed shirt and grey trousers with printed panels and pockets.

Final collection line-up for RTW s/s’14. Have to make 4 for my project and then 2 more if I get put forward into Graduate Fashion Week.
So my final 4 are (drum roll please!) from the first page no.1 is a coat made in bright blue cotton, with a corset and trousers in a pleated silk fabric in a mushroom colour, no.2 is the 3rd design on the first page a shorts and jacket (with a built-in bustle at the back) combo in ombre dyed knitted wool, with a silk trapeze top in the pleated silk underneath, no.3 is the dress (centre) of the 2nd page a simple dress that buttons at the front and has a 3 tier bustle built into the back, made in bright blue cotton and no.4 is the design on page 2 next to the dress which is a silky trapeze top, with a high-waisted pencil skirt made in ombre dyed knitted wool.
