This year I decided to grow flowers & veggies in a bid to do a little bit more for the planet and today is world honeybee day, in my excitement over bees I actually found some honeybees in the garden and while Sunflowers seem specially designed to attract bees, courgette flowers are just as good!

This little bee was so covered in pollen it could barely fly.

In homage to the humble bee I created a quick little quote from Terry Pratchett ‘Blessings be upon this house.’ is something the witches say to each other in a forced effort to be polite and the unofficial head witch Esme Weatherwax had a special fondness for bees and could dance with them.
