Hey friends!
This weeks post is a short one! I’ve had a bit of a baking session as a result of watching way too many buttercream flower piping tutorials on YouTube (who knew that was a thing!) and thought I’d share the results of my experiments!

What do you think??

Good afternoon friends!
Who-hoo! We’re at 200 followers, everyone!!!
I’m kinda a little bit giddy?!
*cue the hand cut eco confetti made from pressed flowers*
Okay, actually, its 202 to be exact! Anyway, a supersized THANK YOU to everyone who’s subscribed and liked my posts! I wouldn’t be where I’m at without you and I truly appreciate it more than you can possibly imagine!

So on to this weeks post, since the weather has been so gloriously filled with sunshine I thought I’d go on a little wander through a golden summer afternoon to try and find some brightly coloured wildflowers, and I wanted to take you guys along with me so you can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and pretty plants too! I hope these photos bring as much joy to your day as much as they did mine.

Hello my friends!
Sorry for the lack of posts lately but changing my url threw up a few challenges with my site and I though that it was best to get the issues sorted before posting anything else! But it gave me a chance to tweak a few things that I’d already posted and I’ve been able to redesign my avatar!
Seeing as this is my first post since the start of meteorological spring I thought I’d share some flower photography with you.
Its amazing how autumn is my favourite season until spring and summer arrive in full force and the beautiful colours of regrowth bloom and all the bees come back…even this early in the year there are bees in the garden and quite a lot of butterflies!
So, enjoy some floral photography…

These are two of my favourite plants to grow the little white daisy type flowers are camomile and the other is actually a runner bean flowers – they both attracted so many bees last year! Runner bean flowers in particular are so delicate and watching them slowly creep over the green house frame was amazing.

Firstly Happy national poetry day 2021! Secondly just a short post this week
As its the 7th of October thought I’d post this haiku!
I really love to write Haiku’s its so quick and easy. For those who may not know Haiku (or Hokku) is a Japanese form of verse most often composed (in English versions) of three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables.
Thanks for reading,
have a great week.

While its raining outside here’s some wonderfully happy pot marigolds. Aren’t they just so sunny!
Spending more time outside has being something I’ve always enjoyed, but this year I really put the effort in to learn gardening and be more at one with nature. So I thought I’d try a and put a collection of flower photography together. These beautiful pot marigolds are particularly vivid against the green of the grass – although I don’t like the smell to them very much.
Enjoy some warm and happy summer colours…

So I’m an idiot.
I’ve been using WordPress for years (with varying degrees of success) and have literally just learnt that the less tags you use the better…I was using the Tumblr mentality of ‘the more the merrier’ which doesn’t work, according to all the help forums I read it can count as tag spamming and actually hide your posts from everyone!
Who knew…

Hello wonderful friends, I’ve put together a little collection of bee related pictures that I’ve taken this year. Due to Covid-19 I spent a lot more time in the garden and tried to encourage as much nature as I could. Bees have always been really special to me they are such clever little creatures and I try my hardest to take care of them and grow as many flowers as possible.
Enjoy some warm and happy summer colours and plenty of bees…

I decided to grow sunflowers because they’re one of my favourites and yellow is the colour I love most. it really didn’t take much for the bees to arrive.

The bees themselves were incredibly camera friendly and by the end of the summer I was able to get super close to them, at one point I was sitting amongst the veggies I was growing with a bee on the top of my head – it didn’t sting me just sat there for a few minutes and then flew away.
