Hello friends,
There is something timeless and soothing about the sea isn’t there? This week I wanted to share some snaps from a summer days spent at Perranporth Beach in Cornwall and I wanted to take you with me!
You may or may not have know but Wednesday 8th June was World Ocean Day so with that in mind I hope you enjoy this seaside themed post.

It’s hard to believe that this picturesque photo of the sea lapping against the sand was taken in the UK, but it was (in fact it’s a beach in Cornwall). The Cornish light is something I truly love when it comes to creating art or taking photographs!
There are some wicked rock pools on this beach – occasionally you even see fish in them! But they are often much deeper than they look.

There was such a nice contrast in textures between the waves and the colonised rocks was awesome the seaweed was so thick and the Barnacles were taking over the rocks almost like how you find lichen on old trees.

I love the natural tones of this shoot, the colours seemed naturally muted as it was ever so slightly overcast, but I think the effect is quite romantic. I haven’t used any post processing on these photos the natural light was enough.

Well that’s it for this week…I hope you enjoyed these beach trips! Thank you so much for reading this post and as always have a great weekend! Do you think I should leave posting for Fridays or maybe try midweek? Let me know what you think, I’d love some feedback! Next week I’m gonna be posting a new illustration (hopefully).
The clouds are pretty amazing in all these photos. I did notice that you can see two different types of clouds in that first picture. That is super cool. As far as posting schedule goes, I have shifted to only posting on Fridays now. I was trying to post every three days, but work is just to intense right now and I don’t have the brain power to write any more than once a week. I think it is what every works best for you! Have a great weekend and thanks for sharing the photos.
