Hello my friends! 

Tonight its Halloween 2026, now I’m not really one of those spooky season people (I much prefer the jolly festive season!) so while I had all manner of things I could’ve posted tonight I thought instead I would share one of the scariest things I have ever read with you.

According to the State of Nature 2023 report UK species have declined by about 19% on average and one in six species at risk of being lost from Great Britain…even the flowers aren’t safe.

I genuinely cannot think of anything more frightening than that! Without the bees and the trees we would literally die, it makes me so sad to think of my favourite bugs, birds, plant and animals and that they could one day be gone.

Its one of the reason I’m so obsessed with my garden, if I can do just a little bit maybe I can create a haven for the local wildlife (with that in mind I’ve got a few diy nature garden tips coming soon!)
